What are your plans for 2018-2019?
Going back to Norway for 1 or 2 long distance races that should serve as qualifiers for the Yukon Quest in 2021
What are your best and worst memories as a musher?
Lots of things...
My best memory is my victory last year in the Amundsen Race in Sweden.
The worst is obviously the death of one of my female dogs, Okak, due to a twisted stomach.
What is your favourite place for mushing?
Sweden, for its open spaces and the friendly people.
Who is your favourite musher and why?
I don't really have a favourite musher but I feel quite close to mushers like Jean Philippe PONTIER as we started at the same time and to a Norwegian musher named Arnt Ola Skerve.
Who or what inspires you?
What inspires me are real great travellers. I feel very close to Jean Louis Etienne who is also from the Tarn.
What do you like to do besides sleddog sports?
Physical challenges. I'm preparing for an Ironman event in Sweden (he finally took part in an Embrunman event in France). I also have a book in the pipeline.
In which direction do you think sleddog sports are headed?
One dog disciplines have a great future I think. Regarding the dog sledding, the problem is space and the lack of recognition of our sport as such.
